Calendar

How do I access my calendar in Divery?

To access your calendar in Divery you have 2 options:
On the side menu, click the third button from the top “Calendar”.
On the Divery dashboard, you will find 3 icons on the top right side of the screen. Clicking the second button “Calendar” will open the calendar.

Calendar views:

You can display your calendar in different views. You have the following options:
Daily view vertical: 1-day timeframe, displayed from top to bottom.
Daily view horizontal: 1-day timeframe, displayed from left to right.
Weekly view: 7-day timeframe, dates displayed from left to right and time from top to bottom.
Monthly view: 1month is displayed with each day one box.
Additionally, on the left, you will find your currently selected timeframe. with the buttons left and right you can jump to the next or the previous one.

Select which calendars to display:

Click on the white rectangle to select which calendars you want to display. You can select from employees, equipment, and places. Selecting one will display all events for this selection in the calendar. You can display multiple calendars at the same time or just one.
To remove a calendar view: Inside the rectangle, you see the displayed calendars, click the cross on the left of one of the names to remove this calendar-view.

Create event

How do I create a new event on my calendar?

To create a new event in your calendar you have 2 options:
On the top right of the calendar, you see a “+” button. Click on the button and the wizard to create a new event will open.
Click inside the calendar on a day or time where there are no events planned yet. The wizard to create a new trip will open. NOTE: the start time and date of the trip will be corresponding to where you clicked in the calendar.

Details of a trip:

Step 1: Appointment settings
Here you will be requested to fill out a name for your event, start date and time as well as an end date and time. Further, you can choose a color for easy reference inside the calendar.

Step 2: Resources
You can select here which employees will join the trip, what equipment you are using from your dive center (not rental equipment but boat, oxygen, first aid kit,…) and you can select which place the trip is going to.

Step 3: Services
Select which services will be available or needed on the trip. You can select services multiple times in the same trip. Examples: dive, guide, surcharge boat, entrance fee. Later on the participant list, you can select for each customer if a service should be charged or not.

Step 4: Customers
Select what the minimum and maximum amount of participants is.
Add customers to a trip by selecting them out of 2 possible lists:
The first list consists of all your present customers. You can select them by clicking in the rectangle and choosing from the list, start typing their name or type in their box number.
The second list consists of all customers in your database. This use is only recommended if you are looking for a customer that is not checked in yet.

Step 5: Click save
Click the “save” button to save your template.
Open up your list with templates and you will find your newly created template inside the list.

Calendar templates

Calendar templates:

You can create a template for an event by clicking the “templates” button on the calendar.  After clicking the button, a menu will appear on the right side. Here you will find an overview of the templates you have already created. If there are not templates created yet you will see an empty list. On the side menu, there will be a “+ New template” button. By clicking here the wizard to create a new template will open.

Making templates:

Step 1: Appointment settings
Choose a name for the event and color for easy reference inside the calendar.
Step 2: Resources
Select which employees are joining the event, which equipment you will be using and what the destination of the trip is.
Step 3: Services:
Select which services you will offer on this trip.
Step 4: customers
Select what the minimum and maximum amount of participants is.
Step 5: Click save
Click the “save” button to save your template.
Open up your list with templates and you will find your newly created template inside the list.

Using templates:

You can open a list with all your templates by clicking the “templates” button on the calendar. The list will appear on the right side of the screen. To use a template click on the template and drag the template into the calendar. On releasing the mouse a wizard will open to set the details for this trip.

Copy events:

If one day, several days or a week of trips repeats itself, you can use the “copy events” feature. To use this feature, click the “templates” button on the calendar. On top of the side menu, you will find the “Copy events” button. Click here to open the wizard that will guide you through your event copies.

Step 1 Timeframe:
copy from/until: choose the start and end date. All events on and between those to dates will be selected.
Insert from: choose the date where you want the copied events to be copied to. If your selection of events spans more then one day, the day you choose here will be where your first selected event is copied to.
Example: Monday has  “trip A”, Tuesday has “trip B”. If you select Friday as the date to insert from, “trip A” will be copied to Friday, “trip B” will be copied to Saturday.

Step 2 select trips:
Here you will see an overview of all the trips that match your selection. They are all selected, if you do not want to copy a certain event, you can click on the event to deselect (it will appear greyed out in the list). For each event, you will see the name of the event and what you will take for this event. In addition, you will see the original date of the event and the date the event will be copied to.
